Richie Havens died yesterday (April 22, 2014) He was a wonderful musician, performer and humanitarian. I am thrilled that I got to hear him in concert twice at Cape Cod Community College. Everyone could see what a kind and gentle soul he was.

Yesterday I spent most of the day preparing for an eight-hour workshop I am giving today at the college WERC program. It stands for Workforce Education Resource Center. I'll be helping business people learn to improve their business writing. My main thrust will be "Keep it simple." I sincerely hope I help them.
